Breez Acevez is a scholarship recipient for the 2025 year, and is attending CSU Chico where she is majoring in art. Breez hopes to become an art teacher for K-12 students. 

Madeline Meyer, is one of our 2025 recipients. She is studying pre-nursing at CSU Chico, and her latest accomplishment is becoming a certified volunteer fire fighter for Buttle County Fire. Madeline is also the inaugural winner of the Sue Young Community Service scholarship. Madeline currently works for Glenn County Hospital, and Side Trax EMS. She plans to apply to nursing school Spring 2026.

Caleb Ramos, NPR

Caleb was awarded a Manton Apple Festival scholarship when he started attending the College of the Siskiyous in 2020. Caleb majored in emergency medicine and became an EMT. His most recent achievement is becoming a Nationally Registered Paramedic in 2025.

Ace Meyer, 2025 Graduate of UC Santa Cruz received Manton Apple Festival scholarship 2021-2023. She graduated with honors majoring in Legal Studies. Ace plans on moving to New York City to work a legal internship during the summer of 2025. 

Brian Bell, PNP

Brian was a 2022 recipient of the Manton Apple Festival scholarship for his continuing education in the Master of Science in Nursing program at USU University in San Diego.  Brain has graduated Family Nurse Practitioner and is currently working in the Sacramento area.
